FrontPanel

Front Panel is a piece of software written in LabVIEW designed to display, record and graph the status of the CryoMech compressor and to provide alerts when it shuts down. See HeliumLiquefierMonitoringSoftware for details on set up and how to run this program.

Functions

• The vi displays the current state of the compressor on a virtual front panel, including diode temperature; high and low side pressures; in and out water temperatures; helium gas and oil temperature and motor current.
• The vi records the values of the compressor state at intervals. The log files are automatically named and kept in the folder C:\Liquefier Logs. The vi will automatically create a new log file every time it is run and on a weekly basis after that.
• The vi sends email and SMS alerts to the addresses and numbers supplied when an error shuts the compressor down.
• The vi uses the LabVIEW server to maintain a website showing the graphs. http://129.94.163.112/LG12_CompressorState2.html
