Tektronix5014C

The Tektronix 5014C AWG is tested with sr760 fft spectrum analyzer. The spectrum range is 0 to 100kHz. The carrier Vpp = 0.5V

The results are listed as followings.

Effect of number of points defining the waveform

By changing the number of points from 100 to 10 in defining the sine wave, the low-f spectrum is not affected.

Effect of carrier frequency on low frequency noise

The AWG is directly connected to the SR760. 10 points are used in defining the sine waveform. The frequency is changed from 1MHz to 30MHz

Effect of low pass filter (LPF)

A low pass filter is inserted between the AWG to the SR760. 10 points sine wave at 10MHz is used as carrier wave.
